Autism Spectrum Programs

The preschool/elementary programs are designed to meet the needs of children diagnosed as having PDD, ADD and Autism.  The programs utilizes a developmental/sensory and behavior approach, emphasizing (pre-)academic and daily living skills.  Staff focus is on maintaining communication skills, interaction and play/recreation skills using a variety of activities, manipulatives and materials.

Behavior/Language Program

The interactive cognitive communication programs address the needs of students with severe behavior and communication/language disorders.  Emphasis is placed on increasing (1) appropriate interaction and socialization skills; (2) age appropriate independent living skills; (3) pre-vocational skills; and, (4) and functional cognitive skills.

Multiply Disabled Programs

The programs are designed to meet the sensory, motor and cognitive needs of students with multiple disabilities.  Emphasis is placed on basic communication, social and self help skills.  Computers, augmentative communication devices, adapted toys/materials/equipment are integrated into the program.

ED/BD Program

The 2008 ED/BD ESY program is open only to those students currently attending the CCC program. The focus of the program will be to maintain a structured routine with consistent behavioral and social expectations. Cooperative play, social skills, instruction and academic tutoring will be integrated within the school day.

Transportation Services, Nursing Services, Occupational
Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech/Language
Therapy are available to the students
attending the Summer Session.
