Cape Cod Collaborative strives to address the multiple needs of our students in an effort to support each student’s potential.
Cape Cod Collaborative S.T.A.R. Program supports students with a variety of learning needs, including medical & multiple needs, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and cognitive or neurological differences. Certified Special Education Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Nurses, and Therapists work together to address our students’ unique needs. Students are grouped in an effort to individualize instruction by learning style, therapy needs, and/or developmental age.
All classrooms offer full-day programming and follow the regular school calendar. Parent support is offered through ongoing communication with teaching and therapy staff, as well as parent meetings offered throughout the school year. A parent lending library has also been established.
S.T.A.R. classrooms are housed at the Cape Cod Collaborative's Osterville campus located at 418 Bumps River Road in Osterville. Our classrooms are substantially separate and offer an option to sending districts seeking programs to support students in a program that provides specialized instruction, small groups, and a high level of staff-to-student ratio. Each classroom offers a framework of instruction and integrated therapies, but a student's program is individualized to meet their unique needs. This is not an inclusion program within a general education classroom.

Parent support includes the opportunity of participation in a parent group that meets regularly during the school year. Meetings are held at the Cape Cod Collaborative, 418 Bumps River Road, Osterville, MA 02655.
