Peter J. Cannone
Lead Search Consultant, Center for Executive Search

Mr. Cannone has served 43 years in education. He retired after serving 11 years as Superintendent of the Sandwich Public Schools in 2004. He is active in various professional associations. Peter is familiar with the diverse needs of the many school districts in the Commonwealth and continues his connections with those in leadership positions in the profession. Having worked with school committees, Mr. Cannone brings a vast knowledge of what contributes to successful and meaningful school committee/superintendent relationships. He has a wealth of experience in the administrative search and selection process. Mr. Cannone presently serves as Assistant Professor in Educational Leadership at Bridgewater State College. He is also a Visiting Lecturer at Salem State College and Fitchburg State College. He is a member of the Graduate Center Board at Cape Cod Community College; Advisory Board, Center for Policy Analysis, UMass Boston; and has served as a member of the State Joint Task Force on Secondary and Higher Education.
