Cape Cod Collaborative Assistive Technology

A variety of training and workshops are available to school districts upon request. Cost is $100.00 per hour. Workshops may be held in your school or at the Collaborative Computer Lab at Lyle School on Otis ANGB ( lab contains 12 computers ).

·          Professional Development & Training

Workshops introduce educators, professionals, and parents to the latest adaptive technology devices and software.

Listed are some suggested software programs which provide access to the curriculum for students with special needs:

·        Classroom Suite (IntelliTalk3, IntelliMathics, and IntelliPics Studio)

·        My Own Bookshelf

·        Inspiration/Kidspiration

·        Kurzweil

·        WordQ/SpeakQ

·        PowerPoint

·        Clicker5/ClozePro

·        BoardMaker

·        Scholastic Keys

The Cpae Cod Collaborative is designated as a Clicker Training Centertraining utilizing literacy software.

·          Individualized Consultation Services

o       Support and training using software applications to meet individual needs of students with AT services.

§        Customization of activities and software programs to meet individual needs.

§        On-site support and training to teachers and students.

Services are also available during the summer.
